Believe it or not this is Number 23 in a row. That’s right we have been coming here every year since 2003. The Kennett River Holiday Park located 164 kms from Melbourne right on the magnificent Great Ocean Road, see www.kennettriver-caravanpark.com.au For new members of the club who have not previously attended this iconic, world famous, VW event, most members usually arrive on the Friday afternoon, or early that evening, for two nights and two days of VW fun filled frivolity. People set up camp then relax, mingle and socialise. Some like to extend the time spent there and choose to arrive earlier in the week. We always have 30 or more sites chock full of VWs and their owners. It is a very laid back few days with a great surf beach right across the road. If you intend to attend, and want to make a booking, you should contact the park and tell the very helpful managers that you are with the Volkswagen club. We have a number of sites set aside for the club. Limited Cabins are also available, but you will need to book early. There has been a policy change at the park and dogs are no longer allowed. Also some major works are scheduled to commence at the park in early February, but it is anticipated that our sites will not be affected.
